Redwood Highway just off highway 101 in the Terra Linda district of
San Rafael, CA. Look for the mustard-colored office buildings on
Redwood Highway. It’s an office park called The Vineyard. Our
building (4318) is all the way in the back left (Northeast) corner of
the complex.

From San Franciso / Central Marin

From 101-N, take the Freitas Parkway Terra Linda exit and bear right
then left on the frontage road (Redwood Highway). After about half a
mile you will see a complex of mustard-colored warehouses on your
right called the Vineyard. Drive all the way to the back left
building (northeast corner, number 4318) and enter through suite 200.

From North Marin / Sonoma

From 101-S, take the Lucas Valley Road Exit. Bear right off the exit
onto Smith Ranch Road, and then go left under the freeway. Make your
next right onto Redwood Highway, and go half a mile until you see a
complex called the Vineyard on the left (after the palm trees). Drive
all the way to the back left building (northeast corner, number 4318)
and enter through suite 200.

From West Marin

Take Lucas Valley Road from Nicasio. When you get to the freeway, go
under it on Smith Ranch Road. Take your next right onto Redwood
Highway, and go half a mile until you see a complex called the
Vineyard on the left (after the palm trees). Drive all the way to the
back left building (northeast corner, number 4318) and enter through
suite 200.

All you amazing clothing makers, brilliant jewelers, inspired artists, gift givers, cosmic bodyworkers and healers! You can offer your wares and/or services for a live Auction that will be held during the night of the event.

If you are interested in offering up your craft, skills, art, music or other, please contact Elana at elanamermaid@yahoo.com and if you can't get it to us in person in advance of the event, than be prepared to send it (or perhaps a nice description of it with graphic) as soon as possible so we can get everything organized.
You can send your offerings to:
Elana Vollen, P.O. Box 394, Lagunitas, CA. 94938

Help is also needed for volunteers to help with the event, before, during and after. We can use your services leading up to and on the day of the event. We need decorators, sign-painters, lighting people, stagehands, florists...etc.
Green Day Extraterrestrial Contact
Kin 208 Yellow Cosmic Star Day Out of Time 2006
All Points Alert Bulletin

"Green day: always corresponds to Gregorian calendar date, July 25, in order for the galactic-solar year to synchronize with the 52-year cycle; independent of the 13 moons, green day is known as galactic freedom day." Dreamspell, the Journey of Timeship Earth 2013, p.37.

Take Magic Flight!

According to the Dreamspell mythology, it is 208 steps to Merlin's Tower, then comes entry to the Green Central Castle of Enchantment, the Court of the Matrix and the Moon Genesis. This means that the Day out of Time, Kin 208, should be the most magical Day out of Time yet. Originally called green day because green is the overtone chromatic color signifying the galactic fifth force, this Day out of Time let us all exercise our galactic freedom and contact the Galactic Federation. With only six and a half years to the Closing of the Cycle this is the moment to send the signal to space and see if the Galactic Federation won't beam us back a reply.

Flying saucers from other worlds dropped in unexpectedly at the original Woodstock Festival, in New York and at the Jimi Hendrix Rainbow Bridge concert in Hawai'i - so why won't they respond to a synchronized signal sent by groups of meditators and concerts intentionally beaming a psychic signal to space. Everything depends on our intention, focus and synchronized effort to communicate and see if we can't establish two-way communication. After all, every year we receive signals in the form of ever more fascinating crop circles, so why don't we send a few signals that we are all familiar with and see if we don't get a signal back. Why don't we send the banner of peace and Hunab Ku/galactic shield symbols out into space - telepathically, and wherever we can by laser beams.

There are several ways we can do this. First of all, wherever there are Day Out of Time gatherings, as early in the day as possible - pre-dawn is best when the airwaves are pretty clear - we should take time to sit in a circle and come to absolute quiet and natural mind peacefulness. Then, after fifteen minutes or so, all together we should concentrate and visualize in our mind the symbol of the banner of peace. This is easy to do. Think that all of us gathered at this particular place have the same image in mind, concentrating on it without distraction. Then, as we hold that image as clear and distinct as we can make it in our imaginal mind, visualize that the projections of this symbol are being sent radially out from that circle, beaming it to the farthest reaches of space. In your mind and heart you should fill that visualization with pure unconditional love, requesting fervently that it be and that the Galactic Federation is requested to help bring peace to the planet by first sending some kind of sign that it has received our message.

(to see the images click here: http://www.lawoftime.org/content/greenday208.html)

Then, after another fifteen minutes or so of beaming the banner of peace symbol, you can follow that up with the hunab ku/galactic shield visualization (this is the one on the Dreamspell kit). Gathering yourself in silence again for another fifteen minutes or so, then, as before, commence to visualize the hunab ku/galactic shield. After you have the image as distinct and clear as you can get it in your mind's eye, then again begin to project it into space, radiating out in so many beams from your circle. This time your intention is to contact the extraterrestrial intelligence, for you need knowledge and help for your planet. Feel fervently in your heart and mind how such supermental knowledge at this time could help your planet solve its problems.

Finally, after another fifteen minutes of visualizing and projecting, take another fifteen minutes or so to return to the calm and quiet of the natural mind meditation, always minding the gap. Then to complete the exercise, do the rainbow bridge visualization, feeling the rainbow projecting from the poles of the Earth. Once again, as you complete the visualization, send it to out into deepest space radiating out from your circle of galactic freedom lovers, letting the Galactic Federation know of your vision for 2012 and requesting that whatever assistance they can give for the fulfillment of this vision, it will be most profoundly appreciated.

That is the first part of the exercise. Then later in the day if there are any concerts, let the performance of these be on behalf of sending a signal into space in the hope that it may be heard or received and reciprocated in some way. Nothing particularly special has to be done, but merely that the performers and audience know that the intention of this concert is specifically to send a signal to space on behalf of galactic freedom on Earth. If there are evening events, or in any case in the evening, where there might be the technology to do so, laser lights bearing the symbols of the banner of peace and the galactic shield should be projected upwards into the sky, signaling the extraterrestrials that a unified, synchronized effort is being made to communicate with them, that we know we need their help and that we are ready to receive them in whatever way they wish to manifest or communicate.

The more people on Earth that can participate in this effort, the better. As the earth turns there will be a moving 24 hour synchronization of meditation, concerts and laser light shows all beaming the same message: we are in peace; we need your intelligence; we are ready for you; 2012 is very near now. Can you help us?

Everything depends on clarity of mind, selflessness, compassion, and no expectation to receive anything in the familiar paradigm, but something totally unexpected, perhaps even as some radically new intuition or perception collectively perceived. Purify your body and mind. Be ready.

Hey all you Music Lovers!!!
I have some great news that will excite you all!

On April 15th for the first time ever in Utah there is going to be a Music and Art Festival at the great Saltair that utilizes the spirit of art, creation and community that we have all come to love and know through the Burning Man Community.

MuseFest will be hosting some of our favorite local and national musicians from the artist community at large. www.muse-fest.com

Artists including Random Rab (El Circo), Zilla (Otter Camp), Kan'nal, Ooah, Kraddy, Edit and of course a lot of our favorite local Dj's and live acts as seen in Salt Lake and Black Rock City like Conspiracy Freak, Dubscouts, Purr Bats, and many more.

So I am writing this invitation not only to inform you all of the event but to invite any of you who are interested in showcasing any of your art: whether it be performance, interactive, expressionistic, 2,3,or 4 dimensional. If it inspires you, we want you to have the opportunity to bring it out to the larger Utah community and inspire them.

The salt flats surrounding the Great Saltair will be converted into a blank canvas that will showcase what local Utah art and artists have to offer. This is a great chance to share
something with those who have no idea what kind of joy can be found by walking through the dessert in a cowboy hat and pink tutu finding something special awaiting on the horizon.

MuseFest is an experience of community awakening through Music, Art, and Participation. It will have 3 stages, 15 plus live Band and DJ acts, hours of Music, Dozens of performers, and copious amounts of Interactive Art.

For one day the Great Salt Air will turn into an art and music festival that will allow the audience to travel through various worlds of interaction and atmospheres. Two domes will be erected outside at the edge of the baron salt beds. One for relaxing from the music that surrounds you; the other bumping beats from Salt Lake Cities finest dj's and producers.

The Great Salt Air gleaming like a desert mirage will house 50,000 watts of sound transmitting some of the finest trip-rock and electronic talent to ever play in
Utah.

Multiple stages will be set through out the event colored with amazing costumes and performers including Fire Spinners, Stilt Walkers, Jugglers, Hula Hoop Girls, Go Go Dancers, Cultural Dancing, Drumming, Spoken Word, Poetry Jam, Live Art, and Performance Art.

If you are interested in participating or displaying any of your art and interactions please contact KathyJo Staheli by April 5th. kathyjostaheli@yahoo.com

Greetings and love to my beloved Family!
I wanted to write this newsletter to keep you all updated on my latest projects, which I’m very excited to tell you all about. I just finished and released my new album, So Jah Say, and have another one on the
way, which is called Praise Him, scheduled to be released February 2006. These two albums are a culmination of my musical career up until this point. A lot of the songs you know and love that I play live are on these two new albums, now professionally mixed and recorded, along with some brand new creations. Featuring so many great artists, like David Grisman, Tina Malia, Sasha Butterfly, Shimshai, Abba Yahudah, Prezident Brown, and Rocker T, and a whole spectrum of musicians, we’ve all come together to make an epic collection of music. The album So Jah Say, which is currently available at CDBaby and on my website www.jahlevi.com/ can either be purchased alone or along with a DVD of a 3 hour live concert that I played in November 2004 in San Francisco at Café Cocomo. This concert features an 18 piece band – an all-star cast which is a lot of fun to watch. I am also working on a DVD that is all about my music and is a deeper look into who is Jah Levi featuring many people who’ve known me and played with me over the years.
I’ve been playing with the legendary Leroy “Horsemouth” Wallace, drummer for Burning Spear and star of the movie “Rockers.” I’ve recorded over a hundred new songs with Horsemouth on drums and he came with us on a CD release tour of the west coast this summer, a highlight of which was the Seattle Hempfest, the largest outdoor music festival on the west coast, where I got a headlining spot, performing for a crowd of 100,000 people with an all-star band, featuring Ronnie “Stepper” McQueen on bass, founder of and bass player for Steel Pulse.
If you haven’t seen my new website, check out www.jahlevi.com/ There are several songs you can listen to on it, and it has beautiful photos, my biography, links, etc., and ways to purchase my new album.
At this moment I am currently setting up distribution and tour dates with my new manager and comrade Andre Jonson, of Dreamcatcher Productions. He is a wonderful friend and ally and I am grateful and enthusiastic to have him aboard for this next phase of my career. We’re booking a tour of the Hawaiian Islands in February. I hope to see you all there in the beautiful sunshine. I’ve also retained Nancy Lewis of Entertainment Works as publicist and PR person. She has been my publicist for the last ten years and is helping me to promote my new album and DVD.
Lately I’ve also been working in the studio on my own new music as well as producing several other artists, such as Manaka, Har-I, Abba Yahudah and Rocker T. It has been a wonderful experience helping to create and promote the musical visions of these up and coming artists. They are all my good friends and are doing great work. Stay tuned for all the Irie music and video coming your way from Theocratic Records International, the record label and production company that I started 25 years ago.
The new music that I’m working on now is a fusion of eclectic, ethnic, and world music, and simply has my own flavor that cannot be put into a genre, but I call it world fusion, bringing together elements of diverse cultures, traditional acoustic instruments, and the sounds of nature in a soul-stirring soundscape of harmonic and melodic intention. This album features Vir of Hamsa Lila on sintir, Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace on drums, Dilshad Hussein on violin, and a host of other amazing artists with their unique sounds. This album is scheduled for release in Spring of 2006.
In addition, my very first album, called Selassie-I Vibration has been totally remixed and re-mastered for re-release on the Theocratic Record Label. The album includes bonus tracks that are unique dub mixes of some of Jah Levi’s classic songs. Check it out on www.cdbaby.com/ or on my website. In fact, my entire catalog is available both on www.cdbaby.com/ and my website, as well as digital download, through many music download services such as Apple I-Tunes music store, Musicmatch, Bitmonk, MP3tunes, MusicNow, MusicNet, MSNMusic, SonyConnect, and Wrapfactory.
Thank you for your love and support over the years and look forward to many more years of concerts, CDs and videos from Jah Levi and the Higher Reasoning, and the Theocratic Records Massive.
One Perfect Love in the Highest Spirit of Jah Rastafari.

Greetings friend's,

We just got done with an amazing run this summer, all that I can say is WOW! I guess that sum's it up, there could be a few other verbs, nouns, and adjective's thrown around I guess, but that seem's to be good for now. So anyhow just wanted to thank everyone who made the extra effort to make it to our show's you all know who you are... We had such an amazing transformation take place within the center of Hamsa Lila this year, brining forth so much great new music. The addition of Evan Fraser playing Flute, Kalimba, Jaw Harp, and all sort's of other goodies, brought forth a new and much needed energy. So next up we are heading out on the Xingolati cruise with so many friends I cant even believe how amazing it's going to be! Lorin, Mystic family circuise, Yard DOgs, damn the list goe's on! And by the way we are being joined for our two shows at sea by Ganga Girri, who will be filling in on percussion for brother MJ who had a prior obligation... If anyone is interested in going check out the Hamsa Lila web site for details on how you can get on the ship for as low as 300$ that includes meals and everything! It's called the Hamsa Lila family discount and the link is on our tour page, you cant beat it unless you know somebody who knows somebody or something like that...
Some of this years hilights for me were, Me and Don Lombardo trying to fix up Jesus the bus in time to leave for tour while I was learning every Hamsa Lila song in two days, Redding CA (my first show playing with the band... our bus broke down and we were a little late but rocked it) Seattle at Nectar (Anahata on the sound), Portland at the center ring, Dream Time in Colorodo, SHAMBHALA!, Vancouver with Cheb I Sabah, Ventura was dope, and of course my home town of Ojai was super special for me as my mom, uncle, and cousins all came out warming my little heart. A special thanks goes out to all the peeps over at the Glen Muse in Ojai! Thanks for putting everyone up in such style, and lettting the after party rage all night! The salt water pool and hot tub were extra supreme!.... Well I guess that wraps it up for now. We are taking a little down time to rest our body, mind, and spirit's, after that we will be finishing up our new album...Thanks for being patient, it will be well worth the wait!
With oh so much never ending love and grattitude to all,

So we just got finished with a 13 day trip up to Canada for Shambhala, followed by an amazing four night run through the NW!!!!!!! What a great time I must say. I wish to thank all who made this tour such a HUGE success. I gotta give a big shout out to Sara up at Shambhala first of all, this girl knows her music and deffinetely knows how to throw a party... Shambhala is a MUST if you havent yet been. I want to also thank Neils, Tarun and all of the Beats without borders crew for throwing a super fun party at Richards on richards in Vancouver, as well as Cheb I Sabah for making the funny people dance, and Jenny for bringing out all the beutiful crystals. Next Jordan up Seattle for making our Friday night gig at Nectar so dope, Seattle has been super kind to us as of late and we will surely be playing again soon, nice one Jordan! Next Nico Luminous from the most slamming band in Portland luminous Fog, this kid has been a huge help to us up in P town and always opens up his home to all the crazies, thanks my braaadaaa for making the show in Portland a HUGE success. Also my new friend Elliot who promoted the event, as well as Arjun for letting us share the night. Nice work everyone! Lastly our fammily at the mobius in Ashland, what a special night. Brett Beryl Jacobsen a founding member of Hamsa Lila and a serious voodoo guimbri ripper joined the band on stage for a few of the classic tunes he co wrote. I had a flashback for realz. Also thank you Marla for all you do including the best mimosas I have ever had, and Crystal for doing the show last minut. You girls rock Ashland... I want to close this posting by saying how greatful I am that everyone is o.k. as we had an accident ( actualy a guy with no license, no insurance, and a warant crashed into our trailer going down the freeway) en route to the Ashland gig. Nikila's costume bag full of stuff she has collected over the years flew off the top of the van and now is gone. I wasn't on board at the time but I know everyone was a bit shook up, and the poor guy sure ruined his day... We are truly blessed as it could have been much worse. O.k. thats it, see everyone at burning man. We just added another show on Friday night, stay tuned for details.
Peace on a triscuit,

.: A Call to Council :.
an eCommunity Networking event

Fri. July 1st - Sun. July 3rd
Mt. Shasta, CA

This call goes out to all tribal activated community networkers and
creative family of visionaries!

The Shasta family is hosting a community networking event at Stewart
Mineral Springs on July 1-3 2005 and we're excited to invite YOU to bring
your piece of the cosmic puzzle. As we draw together many aspects of ourselves to share
insights and info, we'll have opportunity to connect, share, hang out and generally
schmooze in a myriad of funkified ways. There will be a variety of
speakers, focus groups and, for our delectation, amazing electronic and LIVE music. There
will be a chillspace / healing lounge with bodyworx and light therapies; lovely
aromas and medicines of the earth, marvellous stones and of course the astounding
light workers and healers that are their friends!! The Buddha Belly kitchen will be
offering up organic eats and exquisite elixirs.

The main theme of .: A Call to Council :. is to create an ongoing
interactive forum that allows us to get away to a peaceful serene
environment outside of the technosphere where we can connect our galactic tribal dots together and
seed the new vision of sustainable community. These 'seed' events will
be happening every season, progressing into a full-on eCommunity gathering, housing every
aspect of community. All of our ideas, our networks, our creative
sparks, our expertise, our experience will all be imprinted into this seed, which
will then grow through our own experiential evolution as we witness the co-creative
unfoldment of this vision of sustainable community.

We are sending the call out to all folks that are aligned with this
vision to come and commune in a beautiful space and share our
connections, our resources and our enthusiasm in order to start bringing together all the
elements that will be involved in manifesting The Great Work. With all the core pieces
brought together, we will get down, council up, and create the
interactive solution to connect all our resources and imagineer what it is we want to see in The
Big Picture and the future of our world. Undoubtedly, YOU are one of those core pieces,
so we invite you to come and get down!

Hello Friends,

Thank you for coming out to Worldly III – it is going to be incredible!

In order to streamline the process of getting you into 1015 Folsom I have created the printable pdf that is attached.

The Ticket
http://www.dhamaalsf.com/Worldly/Volume3/May1015Ticket.pdf

The Flash Flyer
http://dhamaalsf.com/flyers/worldly3/worldly03Flyer.htm

1. Print it out and bring it the event
2. Show it to the 1015 Folsom Box Office Staff for 15$ Entrance
3. Important: Each person that wants to get on the 15$ List must have a printout
4. You can forward this email to friends so they can make a print out too

The link also has information about the space, performances and where each room is – 1015 Folsom is a big club and having a copy of the attachment to look at will be useful (make an extra copy though since you will have to surrender one copy to get the $15 discount entrance).
Thurs 5/12 - The Drink, Ventura
Sat 5/14 - Joshua Tree Music Festival

Hamsa's most recent gig as House of Hamsa (HL minus Nikila) at the Cafe du Nord was rather difficult. Deja really stepped it up & did a great job spearheading all the female vocals.

But there were only about 2 other heads in the house to see Hamsa, with a smattering of other folks there to see the Parisian chanteuse who was going to sing in set 2. No one was dancing for DJ Suresh's opening set. I couldn't hold down the front row by myself for HL, and the sparse, hipster crowd didn't understand what the groove experience was all about & offered little to no dance support, which the band clearly felt. MJ's mike was feeding back a little bit, which also didn't help. I chalk it up to a weeknight gig, a shared bill with a totally unrelated sound, a slightly different lineup, but also a lack of promotion to the usual fan base - this rabid collector found no posters, handbills, or flyers for HL at all. The record label could have done a bit more here, IMO.

HL should try to get on board with Dhamaal Sound System's Worldly parties @ 1015 Folsom. They would be a welcome addition to the chill lounge, or perhaps even headlining the basement. The next one is in May & might fit with the tour schedule...

I'm looking forward to the 5/5 gig at the Regency!

I was just writing to ask for reccomendations of what shows and/or albums would be good to get me better acquainted with the band. I have tons of STS9 (see this tribe soundtribesector9.tribe.net) to trade and would love to set something up. I am hitting the road for tour for a week but will keep my fingers crossed that I have some responses when I return.
I've been listening to a lot of African music lately and keep hearing a distinct low stringed instrument that I love the sound of. I believe Hey Mustapha starts off with this instrument. Anyone know the name of it?
