Dear Hamsa Lila Community,
THE 'BAD' NEWS:
We are sorry to say that Hamsa Lila will NOT be performing
at the Burn this year. We really appreciate all the inquiries
about what/when/where, and we send our love out to the
Greater Community that has been with us all these years!
This is the first time in 7 years that we haven't played the Playa...
we will miss all your beautiful dusty faces!!
THE GOOD NEWS:
We just got back from the printer our NEW LIVE ALBUM:
"LIVE IN SANTA CRUZ"
This is our first official new album since the "Gathering One"
release in 2004
AND MORE GOOD NEWS>>>
A few advance copies will be handed out at the Burn,
at m.j.'s gigs (see separate posting for times/locations)
or
Nikila's gigs with Goddess Alchemy Project (see myspace page)
and also from other band members going to the Playa.
Hamsa Lila will be back in action Spring 2008, so stay tuned...

Hamsa was truly missed at Bman this year. I miss the sounds.....would love a copy of that CD for KVMR FM Nevada City radio. kvmr.org. Cant wait to get HL back on my radio program with some fresh stuff. Also hoping and praying for a return to High SIerra. If the Hamsa community has not heard, High Sierra Music Festival is now virtually cop free inside the fairgrounds and in the camps. We got victory from the overzealous police presence and wow, does it feel good. Feels like all the hard work paid off. Anyways, wow it feels even mroe incredible there now....High Sierra is my favorite event and I love love love the tapestry of music there....but hot damn do I ever miss those Hamsa sets. HL balances out all of the other genres there really nicely.
