An update on Vir and the "Heal the Real McCoy" June 16th benefit:
Please join us for a very special evening in celebration and support for our very dear friend Vir McCoy.
The event is being held on at Ursa Minor Studio in San Rafael and will feature an all-star cast of musicians, including: Hamsa Lila, The Goddess Alchemy Project, Kid Beyond, Tom Finch, Foxgluv, Playground, D.J. Dragonfly, D.J. Brother, Sarita and Schroeder,
Kid Kalleidoscope, Jupiter Queens, and special guests....
As many of you know, Vir fell very ill a few weeks ago and was hospitalized from an infection that was related to Lyme disease, something that he has been battling for a little over 5 years now. Vir is doing much better and is getting stronger everyday. He is able to get around now and is in good spirits. He is still riding high from all of the love and support that came flooding in from everyone. Thank You so much! It
really made a difference.
Vir is still in need of continued treatment, has had to miss several weeks of work, and has many medical bills that need to be paid. To ease the pressure and to celebrate our friend and help get him back on his feet we are doing a Benefit for Vir to "Heal the Real Mccoy".
There are a number of ways YOU can get involved! Our community is chock full of gifted folks - and you are most certainly one of them. All you amazing clothing makers, brilliant jewelers, inspired artists, gift givers, cosmic bodyworkers and healers! You can offer your wares and/or services for a live Auction that will be held during the night of the event.
If you are interested in offering up your craft, skills, art, music or other, please contact Elana at elanamermaid@yahoo.com and if you can't get it to us in person in advance of the event, than be prepared to send it (or perhaps a nice description of it with graphic) as soon as possible so we can get everything organized.

Help is also needed for volunteers to help with the event, before, during and after. We can use your services leading up to and on the day of the event. We need decorators, sign-painters, lighting people, stagehands, florists...etc.
